Expert naturalists join every cruise to guide passengers through the rich ecosystem of Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, offering guests the opportunity to witness humpback whales, fin whales, minke whales, dolphins, seabirds, and other marine life in their natural habitat. Dinner on the Bay, redefined. Acclaimed chef and restaurateur Tyler Florence is partnering with City Cruises this summer to debut Miller & Lux Maritime, a four-night pop-up dining experience aboard the California Hornblower in San Francisco. A historic moment for space exploration unfolded off the coast of San Diego last week, and we were proud to be on the water for it. As excitement built for the Artemis II mission’s return from its 10-day journey around the moon, City Cruises guests and our Crew took in the San Diego skyline while following along in real time. While the splashdown itself stayed out of view, everyone onboard shared in the excitement and significance of witnessing history unfold. Cherry Blossom season is setting the stage for something new on the Potomac. City Cruises and the DC Office of Cable Television, Film, Music and Entertainment (OCTFME) officially launched the Capital Sound Series aboard the Odyssey DC last week. The series debuted at the start of Cherry Blossom Festival with a live performance from The Experience Band & Show. With this new initiative, City Cruises will provide a stage for local artists throughout the Cherry Blossom Festival and beyond, connecting residents and visitors to DC’s music, creativity, and neighborhoods in a unique setting. For over 40 years, City Cruises has offered a distinct perspective of Washington, DC. This Women’s History Month, we’re proud to spotlight female Crew members like Challis Diaz, Assistant Port Director for Boston Harbor City Cruises. Challis grew up sailing in the U.S. Virgin Islands and turned that passion into a career on the water, leading operations and a team of up to 150 during peak season while helping pave the way for more women in maritime.
