  • Our Vice President, Richard Fregia, was glad to join MineralTech Gulf Coast Abrasives, LLC and Strategic Surface Solutions for this round of product evaluation. Real-world testing like this is critical to understanding how different abrasives perform across substrates, application methods, and operating conditions. At CCI Inspection Services, this type of work is at the core of what we do. Our team regularly supports coating and surface preparation projects with independent inspection, testing, and technical guidance to help contractors, manufacturers, and asset owners make informed decisions before work begins in the field. Whether it's abrasive performance testing, coating inspections, surface prep verification, or project QA/QC support, we help ensure projects meet specification and perform as intended. If you're planning testing, qualification work, or need inspection support on an upcoming project, we'd be happy to help. At MineralTech, we believe the best guidance comes from real-world testing. Our team regularly runs controlled product evaluations on a variety of substrates to better understand how different abrasives perform across real job conditions. These tests help us refine our recommendations and ensure our customers have the information they need to select the right abrasive for the job. Recently, we conducted a series of tests alongside industry leaders Dianna T. of Strategic Surface Solutions and Richard Fregia of CCI Inspection Services. Bringing together product knowledge, inspection expertise, and field experience allows us to capture valuable data that benefits both our team and the contractors we support. Not every test is about confirming what we already know — sometimes the most valuable insights come from discovering how materials behave differently across substrates, application methods, and operating conditions. That continuous learning is how we improve our products, strengthen our technical guidance, and ultimately help customers achieve better results in the field. Thanks to Dianna and Richard for collaborating with us on this latest round of testing. We look forward to sharing more insights from future evaluations. #abrasives #surfacepreparation #abrasiveblasting #corrosioncontrol #fieldtested
