Could we wrap up our entire customer experience in just two simple words? And it didn’t take long: Feel safe. That’s our job. Whether it’s a family in their home or a business owner protecting what they’ve built, what we’re really delivering isn’t a treatment. It’s peace of mind. A feeling of safety in their home or business. We’ve always believed the most important part of any service interaction isn’t what you do, but rather it’s how the person feels when you’re done. Do they understand what happened? Do they trust you? Do they feel better than before you arrived? People will always tell you how they feel if you know how to pay attention. Not just with words, but with everything else, like their posture, their tone, whether they lean in or pull back. When someone genuinely feels at ease, you’ll know it. And when they don’t, that’s information too. The best service professionals we know are students of the people in front of them, not just the work beneath their feet.
