Such a heartwarming evening with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana 🌷🌸! The Bigs and Littles spent time painting flower pots, planting flowers, and creating memories with one another through creativity and connection. It’s great seeing everyone’s personalities shine through their designs while sharing laughs, conversations, and quality time together. Their pots were absolutely gorgeous!! Thank you to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana for welcoming Craft Connections to be part of such a special experience 🎨🪄! #CreativeWellness #artistherapy #afterschoolactivities #afterschoolfun

I don’t drink coffee, but this fills my cup… The conversations. The collaborations. The connections. Seeing people like Amanda Skillman of Supro Direct Concierge Medicine and Eric Saunders of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana brainstorm ways to help address the need for more BIGs in Indianapolis was inspiring. Grateful to Tammy Goff and the team at Mainstyle Flooring for the warm hospitality, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious treats. Moments like this are a reminder that meaningful impact often begins with a simple conversation. Another great Aspire Economic Development + Chamber Alliance Coffee Connections event. Connection is where impact begins. #Networking #CommunityImpact #Leadership #Collaboration

One thing about me is I'm bad at taking pictures 🤣 The better an event is, the fewer pictures I have. So, this is what you get after Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana's Coffee, Collab & Convo this morning! What an incredible showing of community, inclusivity, and genuine care (and they had MANGO in the fruit spread!!!). The panel discussion centered around BELONGING, and my goodness how needed that was. Thank you to my girl Victoria Reid for the invite - always enjoy being with you sis! And the PANELISTS!!! Andrew Adeniyi, always a pleasure to hear you speak and I'm glad we got to gab a little at the beginning! Cassandra Porter, you were so inspiring to hear, and Maria De Leon, you're such a shining light for Indy. I hope to be in more rooms with all three of you! Eric Saunders thank you for being such a great steward of such a needed event. Can't wait for the next one!! 🟢

We had a great time attending Coffee, Collab & Convo: The Power of Belonging hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana this morning. ☕💚 A huge thank you to Eric Saunders for facilitating such a meaningful conversation around The Power of Belonging, alongside an incredible panel of leaders sharing perspectives on connection, community, and showing up authentically. One of the biggest takeaways from the conversation was this: we often feel the most authentic version of ourselves when our values align with the spaces, people, and communities around us. Belonging is powerful. When people feel seen, supported, and connected, they are more likely to show up as themselves, build trust, and grow in meaningful ways. That is especially true for youth. At Indiana Teen Treatment Center, we see every day how important belonging is in the healing process. Supporting youth goes beyond treatment. It is about helping them feel understood, building environments where they can safely be themselves, and surrounding them with people who genuinely care. Because when young people feel like they belong, everything changes. 💙✨ Shoutout to the panelists for sharing their experiences and insight: ✨ Andrew Adeniyi ✨ Maria De Leon ✨ Cassandra Porter Thankful for spaces that bring community partners together for conversations like these and remind us that real impact happens through connection. 🤝 #youthmentalhealth #indy #community

Joel Weyrauch and Jennifer Troxell from the Mapt team had a great time this morning at Coffee, Collab & Convo: The Power of Belonging, hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana . The conversation centered on what it truly takes to create spaces where people feel seen, valued, and connected - at work and in our communities. From honest dialogue to shared experiences, the theme of belonging came to life in a meaningful way. It was especially impactful for Joel, who has served as a Big Brother for several years and has seen firsthand how powerful mentorship and connection can be. Grateful to be part of conversations like this - and to organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters that continue to create lasting impact across Central Indiana. #CommunityImpact #Belonging #Mentorship

Cultivating a culture of belonging is a strategic way to increase engagement and reduce turnover in organizations. It was a pleasure speaking on the power of belonging and mentorship last week with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana 👏🏾
We had an amazing discussion on the importance and power of belonging at our Coffee, Collab, & Convo last week with a great group of panelists. ✨☕ For our young people growing up who may feel like they don't belong, having a supportive adult that shows up for them and gives them the space to belong can be life-changing. Still reflecting on the energy from another successful Coffee, Collab & Convo ☕️🤝 First and foremost... ...THANK YOU to everyone who showed up, engaged, connected, shared, listened, and poured into the space. Every conversation, every handshake, every perspective added value to the room. This gathering reminded me of something powerful: People don’t just want to be invited into spaces… they want to feel like they belong in them. Our conversation around Belonging challenged us to think deeper about how we create environments where people feel seen, heard, valued, and connected. And our panel did an incredible job of leading with honesty, vulnerability, wisdom, and authenticity. Their voices created moments that I know will stay with people long after the event ended. That’s the power of community. That’s the power of conversation. That’s the power of belonging. Grateful for every attendee, panelist, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this event meaningful. And the good news? We’re just getting started 👀 We’re already looking forward to the next Coffee, Collab & Convo happening next quarter, and I promise you… you’ll want to be in the room. Until then, let’s continue building spaces where people don’t just attend , they belong.
