Lawmakers are setting their sights on the issue of cargo theft with the Combating Organized Retail Crime Act. Last week, the House passed the bipartisan act which is designed to strengthen investigations into multi-state theft operations and supply chain crime, which have grown increasingly sophisticated in recent years. The bill is heading to the Senate for consideration. The security of the cargo we carry is a vital part of every move, whether we're relocating mission-critical medical equipment or sentimental household items. We look forward to seeing how the bill advances and the impacts it will have on improving security across the freight industry. #FreightIndustry
