Today, AES Indiana filed a petition with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) for a new Energy Efficiency Plan that will deliver bill savings through 2029 by providing tools that allow customers to manage household energy usage. If approved, the three-year plan will address affordability by helping our customers better understand and manage their usage to lower their energy bills. Together, these efforts are expected to save approximately 120,000 MWh, which is enough energy to power 10,500 homes for a year. 💡 Read more about AES Indiana’s plans to address affordability with practical, customer-focused solutions: https://lnkd.in/ggf6x7bw #PressRelease | #EnergyEfficiency | #Affordability

Last night, we joined community leaders from across #Indianapolis at La Plaza, Inc.'s Night of the Americas. A key theme of the evening—the importance of helping people step into their power—closely aligns with our commitment to making a positive impact in the communities we serve. We’re proud to support organizations like La Plaza that expand access to opportunity for #Latino students and families in #CentralIndiana. #CommunityImpact | #TeamAES | #NightOfTheAmericas | #LaPlazaIndy

Yesterday, the women of AES Indiana came together to celebrate and support our president, Brandi Davis-Handy, as she hosted her first event as the 2026 Pearl Society Chair for Dress For Success Indianapolis. Dress for Success Indianapolis is dedicated to empowering women on their journey to employment and economic mobility, a mission that reflects our commitment to powering stronger communities. Congratulations, Brandi, and thank you for leading with purpose and impact. #CommunityImpact | #CommunityLeadership
Back in 2013, I joined my first board: Dress For Success Indianapolis. I saw firsthand how this organization empowers women with hope, employment opportunities, career growth, and economic mobility. Since that time I’ve served the organization in a number of ways. Yesterday, as Chair of the Pearl Society, I had the honor of hosting the 2026 Pearl Society Reception. A huge thank you to all the incredible women in attendance, including nearly 20 from AES Indiana, who joined to learn how we can better support this vital cause. The pearl itself is a powerful symbol of transformation and hope. Born from adversity into something beautiful. When we empower more women, we create ripple effects that uplift our entire community. #CommunityImpact

Central Indiana's continued growth depends on a strong, resilient electric grid. The Morgan County Transmission Line Upgrade is a key infrastructure investment designed to strengthen the regional grid and support homes, businesses, and future economic development across our service territory. As we plan for long-term growth, we're taking a deliberate, transparent approach by sharing information early and intentionally gathering input from the communities this project impacts most. This week's public open houses were part of that process, giving community members an opportunity to learn more about the project and share feedback that will help shape future iterations of route options. AES Indiana's partnership with Google is structured so that all costs for Google's proposed data center in Monrovia, Indiana are paid by Google—not the 533,000 customers AES Indiana serves across #CentralIndiana. The bottom line: Growth is happening, but our customers aren’t footing the bill. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/eP8CrtNk.

AES Indiana reposted this
At Google, we believe that being part of a community means contributing to its stability and long-term economic growth. For our proposed data center in Monrovia, we have worked with AES Indiana to ensure that our costs are entirely borne by us, not the families and small businesses of Central Indiana. As part of our agreement, we’re paying for 100% of our electricity and any new infrastructure required to serve us. AES modeling shows this is expected to deliver over $770 million in customer savings over the next 15 years. By working together, data centers and utilities can drive economic development that protects ratepayers. Read more ⤵️ https://lnkd.in/giNPzX8Z
