Shore Capital is delighted to announce the appointment of Tod Davis as a Managing Director in our Investment Banking team as we continue to invest in the growth of our business after a strong start to 2026.    Tod joins with more than three decades of Investment Fund broking experience, most recently at Deutsche Numis where he spent 17 years as a Director of sales. Over that time he has created long standing relationships with asset managers and corporate clients, having been responsible for leading a number of high profile corporate relationships across the Investment Funds. Tod has been responsible for numerous corporate broking relationships in the FTSE350 and has led a broad range of equity, M&A and financing transactions in public and private markets across many sectors.    Commenting on the appointment, Chief Executive Simon Fine said: “Tod is another excellent hire for Shore Capital and one that will further strengthen our UK Investment Banking platform and Investment Funds franchise, we are delighted to welcome Tod to Shore Capital.”    Tod added: “I’m excited to join Shore Capital which has an excellent reputation in research and distribution, and a strong corporate broking client list. Shore Capital is delighted to have acted as Nominated Adviser and Sole Bookrunner to Light Science Technologies Holdings Plc on its £6.6m fundraise to fund the acquisition of RLUK Injection Ltd (including its wholly owned subsidiary Injectaclad Ltd), the remaining 10% minority interest in UK Circuits and Electronics Solutions Limited, together with a related property asset, for a total consideration of up to c.£5.4 million. The fundraise consisted of a £6m Placing and £0.6m retail offer. The Placing was supported by both existing and new institutional investors. The Company's PFP division is already an installer of Injectaclad, and the acquisition of RLUK Injection will secure the intellectual property and supply chain for this critical product, enabling LSTH to capture a greater share of the value chain and accelerate the growth of the PFP division. The acquisition is expected to enhance the Group's reputation as an industry leader in passive fire protection and open up new opportunities for expansion in the UK and potentially internationally. The UK Circuits Acquisition will consolidate the Company's ownership of this important division, providing full control over strategic decision-making and operational management. Members of Shore Capital’s Investment Funds team have recently returned from India after a week visiting the portfolio companies of India Capital Growth Fund.   The fund is managed by River Global Investors (RGI) and invests predominantly in listed mid and small cap Indian companies, seeking long term capital appreciation from companies that are well-placed to benefit from the structural growth potential of the Indian economy, combined with quality-management best able to harness that opportunity.   Gaurav Narain, the principal adviser, introduced the team to a wide variety of company holdings in Mumbai and Kolkata, among them PI Industries, RGL Bank and Welspun in Mumbai and GPT Healthcare and Skipper in Kolkata and undertook site visits to Aether Industries in Surat and Titagarh Rail Systems in Kolkata.

Yesterday Shore Capital’s Investment Funds team hosted our Women in Investment Funds and Asset Management event at Kensington Palace.   The event included a private tour of Kensington Palace before it opened to the public followed by a networking breakfast. Shore Capital is delighted to have acted as Sponsor, Sole Bookrunner and Sole Broker to iFOREX Financial Trading Holdings Ltd. (the “Company” or “iFOREX”) on its successful IPO on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.   iFOREX is a leading fintech business with a proprietary online and mobile trading platform for multi-asset contracts for difference (“CFD”) enabling clients to trade CFDs across over 870 financial instruments comprising currencies, commodities, indices, cryptocurrencies, stocks and exchange traded funds.    iFOREX raised £8.75 million through an oversubscribed offering of new ordinary shares (the "Offering"). The net proceeds of the Offering are planned to be used by the Company for the implementation of customer self-activation processes, investment in further automation software, supporting growth in new and existing markets and attracting and rewarding new talent as well as other general corporate purposes. Shore Capital was pleased to co-host a UK North Sea congress on 29th January in London, together with The Jobs Foundation, focused on the jobs and economy of our domestic oil & gas industry. Thank you to our distinguished panellists Lord Matthew Elliott, President of the Jobs Foundation, Amjad Bseisu, Founder and CEO of EnQuest Plc, Alasdair Locke, Chairman of Well-Safe Solutions and Motor Fuel Group and Andy Prendergast, National Secretary of the GMB Union. With over 100 people in attendance including MPs, press, trade associations, academics, listed and private companies and investors, there was a clear consensus that the industry is facing significant challenges. With appropriate changes, the industry can be preserved along with its jobs and skills, while creating conditions for investment and tax revenues to grow over the medium term. Thank you to all who attended and spoke in what was an engaging and important discussion.
