We’re a nation of crust-wasters (up to 47 tonnes a year, apparently). Turns out, 75% of us would finish them… if there’s a decent dip involved.
So, James Elliot and Thom Elliot did something very them and have teamed up with Dishoom, Honest Burgers Ltd, Pho Restaurant and Sweet Dee's Jerk to made a Double Dip menu.
The solution to a crust problem… is better dips. And, the best bit, every dipper sold supports World Wish Month for Make-A-Wish® UK, with donations doubled.

Please share your secret, Pizza Pilgrims, where do you find your people?
I've recently visited four different Pizza Pilgrims restaurants across the country (the joy of supporting Insights Discovery clients with their delivery and indulging in great pizza wherever I go!), and what struck me across the board, in every restaurant, was the people.
Some time ago, I had the pleasure of running a session with the Pizza Pilgrims Managers team, where we explored the company's values and how they come to life through each person's different Insights preferences - so I know their values well.
Over Easter weekend, I took my family to the King's Cross restaurant as a treat, and what we experienced was exactly what we emphasise in our values workshops: company values have to be lived, not just stated.
My daughter was completely mesmerised watching the chefs work with the dough. Not only did one of the chefs engage with her warmly, he invited her to be his sous chef and make her very own pizza, on the house. There were no cameras, no audience, no agenda. Just a chef making a little girl's day.
Of everything we did that weekend - watching Wicked at the Apollo, visiting the Twist Museum, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye - her favourite moment...was being a real sous chef.
Thank you, Pizza Pilgrims. You truly do make people happy, one pizza at a time!
