Episode 9 of The Lowry Stories ✨ In this episode, we meet Julie Perry, founder of Julie Perry Events who organised and executed the official launch of The Lowry Hotel 25 years ago. Julie reflects on planning one of Manchester’s most talked-about openings - from striking ice sculptures to 40 members of staff meeting and greeting guests, all dressed in the same uniform. Every detail was carefully considered to create an unforgettable first impression. She remembers the launch as being ahead of its time - stylish, sophisticated, and incredibly chic - setting the tone for everything The Lowry Hotel would become. Twenty-five years later, Julie still chooses The Lowry Hotel for many of her events, with the Ballroom continuing to host some of her most memorable occasions. #TheLowryStories #LowryHotel25

Episode 7 of The Lowry Stories ✨ In this episode, we sit down with @brookelevivincent, who reflects on the many times she has been in and around The Lowry Hotel over the years. Brooke speaks about the warm and friendly feeling the hotel has always had, and remembers when all of Manchester’s sparkling events were held at The Lowry - including the famous Manchester Evening News Diary Parties. She shares how the hotel holds so much history, while still feeling modern, current and as relevant as ever. One of her standout memories was being asked to switch on The Lowry Christmas lights - a true full-circle moment.
