This week is a time to reflect on how far we’ve come and to continue recognising the growth that is still needed within the industry. Women make up around 60% of the hospitality workforce, yet less than 30% of women hold senior leadership roles and it’s less than 7% when it comes to the most senior positions in the industry. It’s a reminder of why these conversations and our actions are still so important. There are so many incredible women in the industry paving the way and to the next generation on their way up - keep going, your voice matters more than you know. I’m proud today and every day to be surrounded by such inspirational women who support, challenge and work their socks off to make a real difference in this industry.
