Mental Health Awareness Week at Evergreen    This week, colleagues across Evergreen Garden Care have come together to support Mental Health Awareness Week through a range of meaningful and engaging activities across our UK sites.   From sharing food and stories through Taste of Home, to local wellbeing activities, team walks, and moments to pause and connect, it’s been fantastic to see such strong involvement across our teams. Our business is so seasonal, our peak time is right now, and our teams are working really hard so it felt appropriate to remind everyone that our mental health is incredibly important. This weeks initiatives have created space for open conversations, strengthened connections, and supported colleague wellbeing in a practical and inclusive way.    A huge thank you to everyone who has taken part and helped bring these activities to life. #MHAW #wellbeing

This month saw the launch of our season-long influencer campaign alongside some of the biggest garden creators in the UK. Throughout the season, our Gardening Guru’s will be educating their followers on the benefits of Miracle-Gro products across all areas of the garden. The first content drop was timed perfectly in the run up to the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, the busiest weekend for Garden Centre shopping of the year, and results from the first 6 pieces of content have been amazing, with over 812k organic impressions, and an average engagement rate of 3.5%. Keep your eyes peeled on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok over the next few weeks for the next round of content!

What an incredible Sunday at the London Landmarks Half Marathon – and a huge achievement from our fantastic five Evergreen Garden Care runners, who took on the challenge with great energy, determination and spirit. Massive congratulations to Andrea Thompson (PGDipM), James D., James Short (CMgr MCMI), Jamie Rushworth and Steve Gallagher! Soaking up the buzz of the city, the incredible crowd support and some surprisingly kind weather, our runners raised an amazing £2,706 for GREENFINGERS CHARITY This outstanding total will make a real difference, helping Greenfingers continue their vital work creating magical outdoor spaces for children and families in hospices across the UK. Big news! Today is the day and we’re officially launching the new Miracle-Gro brand ambassadors - ‘The Glovers,’ a fully integrated campaign across TV, social & digital and in-store. Fronted by our new brand ambassadors, Moe and Gaz Glover, this father-son duo brings heart, humour, and inspiration to a new generation of growers! Voiced by comedy legends Steve Furst and Blake Harrison, The Glovers prove that with a little help, gardening isn't a chore, it’s pure joy. Whether it’s a sprawling lawn or a windowsill pot, we’re here to give everybody a little help in the garden. Keep an eye out for Moe and Gaz, they’re ready to help your garden sing!

One incredible team. 👏 This week we had not one, but two major audit successes across our Growing Media sites — and the results speak volumes about the people behind them. 🔹 Hatfield – ISO 45001 Surveillance Audit (Occupational Health & Safety) The Hatfield team passed with flying colours: ✅ Zero non-conformances ✅ Just 1 opportunity for improvement The auditors highlighted the fantastic behaviours, pride in work, and strong understanding of processes and procedures shown by everyone involved. A truly outstanding achievement and a great reflection of the culture at site. A massive shout out to Peter A., Group Safety & Environment Manager, whose leadership and commitment to safety continues to set the standard. 👏 🔹 Kirkby – ISO 9001 Quality Management System Audit Even more impressive — this was Kirkby’s very first ISO 9001 accreditation, and the team delivered an equally phenomenal result: ✅ Zero non-conformances ✅ Just 1 opportunity for improvement The auditors saw amazing ownership, engagement, and pride from the entire team. For a first accreditation, this is an exceptional achievement. The garden industry never stops moving, and neither do we! We had a great time at the Garden Press Event earlier this week, celebrating its 20th anniversary at the Business Design Centre. It was the perfect stage to preview our new 2026 brand platform with the UK’s leading trade and consumer press. The team also got to spend some time with our ‘Gardening Gurus.’ These creators will be the heartbeat of our social channels for the upcoming season. The energy, fresh perspectives and ideas they brought to the table have us counting down the days until the season officially kicks off. Keep your eyes peeled, something big is coming this March.
