  • We’re extremely proud to announce that we recently kicked off our first 'Future Leaders Program' at 🪴 Evergreen Garden Care Australia 🪴 focused on developing and strengthening our next generation of leaders.   Starting off the day, our MD, Andrew Martin, shared how he defined true leadership. He strongly believes that leaders are forged, not born and that through practice, personal accountability, and by remaining resilient, everyone can become a strong leader.     Cassandra Bunting (People & Culture Director) & Ashley Eustace (Chief Operations Officer) began the session by walking us through an overview of the program. We then created space for our leaders to connect with their mentors, setting foundations for vital relationships into the future. Leadership isn’t a straight path, mistakes are inevitable along the way. Having someone to lean on helps you recalibrate, regain direction, and move forward with confidence.   From Cass “This program reflects the belief that investing in future leaders creates opportunity for individuals, energy in teams, and lasting success for our organisation”   The team dived into DiSC behavioural styles, helping each leader understand their personal style, the opportunities & risks to consider, and the impact on the broader team and themselves. This session, from LeaderLab, prompted honest conversations and deeper insights, bringing the group closer together.   This is the start of a long-term commitment to building our future leadership pipeline and investing in our people. We’re excited to see how the journey unfolds for this talented cohort.   The impact of the day was powerfully reflected by participants, who shared their own experiences of growth and connection:   “I'm grateful for an inspiring day in our Future Leaders Program that fueled my personal growth, honed my leadership skills, and highlighted the power of a culture that embraces openness and vulnerability.” Daniel Jackson (Senior Commercial Finance Manager)   “I’m privileged to be part of Evergreen’s Future Leaders Program, an ongoing opportunity for reflection, growth, and monthly mentoring with a senior leader. It’s a genuine investment in people that I truly value.” Michelle Hood (Marketing Manager)

  • This Spring, Scotts Lawn Builder is proud to team up with Movember for the ‘Grow or Mow?’ challenge - inspiring Aussies to grow their lawns and support men’s health, one lawn at a time. It’s about getting outdoors and taking a moment to nurture your lawn, check in with your neighbours over the fence and look after your own mental wellbeing.    In the lead-up to the ‘Big Mow’ on 30th November, throughout the month of Movember, we’re calling on Aussies to roll up their sleeves, feed their lawns, and start conversations that matter. Because when we care for our lawns and each other, we’re helping grow stronger, healthier communities.    Find out more about the ‘Grow or Mow?’ challenge and how you can get involved https://lnkd.in/gN8rhDPt

  • 🌱 Big news from the garden bed! 🌱 We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Merrick Watts—comedian, wine connoisseur, and now Australia’s very first Soilmelier. Yep, you read that right. He’s swapping grapes for garden beds and diving deep into the world of soil with Scotts Organic Plant Food. Why Merrick? Because he gets it. Great soil is the secret sauce to thriving plants, and he’s on a mission to help Aussies understand what’s really going on beneath the surface. Together, we’re bringing a fresh (and slightly cheeky) perspective to organic gardening—because healthy soil means happy plants, and happy plants mean proud gardeners.🌿 https://lnkd.in/gMVM9wtA
