Every two years, we select graduates from thousands of applicants worldwide for our Global Graduate Program. This cycle, Kalle Josefsson and Katri Säily got a chance to visit China, the world's largest manufacturing market. It is also, by most measures, one of the most demanding. They encountered a pace went beyond technology or infrastructure. Speed was embedded in how people worked, how decisions were made. For two engineers fresh out of university, watching such a work culture up close and being asked to contribute to it was a welcome experience. They left with an understanding of what it means to operate at the frontline of global industry. That gap between knowing something and having lived it is what this program is built around. If you're driven, curious, and ready to make an impact beyond borders, this program might just be for you: https://go.sandvik/29k #LifeatSandvik #Learning

What do netball and sales have in common? Frengelina Mabotja has played netball since her school days in rural Limpopo and she still competes in a local action netball league today. She draws a direct line between the two worlds: "You have to always be on your toes, keep an eye on your opponent and come up with quick strategies. It's very similar to my work." She leads screening solutions sales across Africa for Sandvik Rock Processing, a role that balances strategy, speed and people skills across 50 customer relationships in 40+ countries. Sustainability is built into how we engineer solutions that raise productivity and reduce environmental impact. The Sandvik electric from Sandvik Rock Processing won the Sigrid Göransson sustainability award 2026 because it turns lower emissions into a better way to operate. For operators, the value is immediate. Running three engines means three service schedules, three sets of spare parts, and three potential downtime triggers. The electric train cuts that complexity down to one engine, or none at all. Less fuel, lower emissions, less maintenance and more predictable planning. How do you keep quality consistent when machines are built in multiple countries? The new Seremban facility in Malaysia operates as part of Sandvik global load and haul network, alongside sites in Finland and China. Knowledge transfer across the sites has supported the ramp-up, and production in Malaysia follows the same processes, quality controls and testing procedures as the other facilities. This means customers can expect the same level of quality, safety and performance, no matter where the machine is assembled. Full story: https://go.sandvik/28U

In the latest Meet Sandvik podcast episode, Mats Eriksson reflects on a long international career and talks about a mindset that’s easy to lose as your title grows: staying a learner. Listening long enough to understand what’s in front of you. If you’re early in your career, you don’t need to know everything to lead. You need curiosity, the courage to ask questions and the humility to learn from the people doing the work. Listen to the full episode: https://go.sandvik/28N #Leadership #Podcast #LifeatSandvik

Experienced machinists are retiring. At the same time, automation, robotics and digital systems are redefining what the modern machinist needs to know. The skills shortage in manufacturing is not a future risk. It is happening now. So who will run the factories of the future? For nearly two decades, Sandvik Coromant has partnered with the NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) to answer that question. Together, they built the Sandvik Coromant Center for Machinist Technology, a 31,000 square foot training environment where students work with industrial grade equipment from day one. Each year, around 1,300 students train here. 86 percent secure employment within nine months. Employer satisfaction stands at 98 percent. This is how industry and education move forward together. Curious how the collaboration started and what makes it work? Full story: https://go.sandvik/28w #LifeAtSandvik #STEM #Manufacturing #Engineering
