On May 8, we welcomed shareholders and guests to AAK’s 2026 Annual General Meeting in Malmö, Sweden.   At the AGM, we highlighted a strong year of value creation for shareholders and stakeholders alike. In 2025, AAK continued to deliver operating profit growth, supported by disciplined execution, a decentralized operating model and continued progress in responsible sourcing.   Our President and CEO, Johan Westman, underlined AAK’s clear focus on profitable growth and long-term shareholder value. Volume growth and strong profitability  Today, AAK presents the interim report for Q1, 2026. “Market conditions remained cautious during the first quarter of 2026, in line with the previous year. Despite this, at fixed currencies, operating profit increased by 11 percent and operating profit per kilo by 9 percent, while volumes grew by 3 percent. Last week, we attended in-cosmetics global in Paris. Across the exhibition, our teams engaged in a high number of valuable customer meetings and technical interactions, discussing real formulation challenges and future innovation needs within personal care. Sustainability remained a central focus. Through two dedicated sustainability presentations, we reinforced our long-term commitment to responsible sourcing and our ambition to continue leading the industry in sustainable lipid solutions. At our booth, we showcased high-performance, natural ingredients, supported by strong technical formulations and problem-solving expertise. From advanced sensory profiles to functional performance, the conversations clearly demonstrated the growing demand for solutions that combine efficacy, sustainability, and scalability. We highlighted our sustainably sourced portfolios, including FairWild®, IMPAAKT driven sourcing models, and Rainforest Alliance-certified ingredients—all designed to deliver measurable impact while enabling our customers to innovate responsibly.
