As AAC Clyde Space continues to expand its space-based data and services offering, Johan brings perspectives on strategic development, scaling and long-term value creation. What attracted you to AAC Clyde Space? "Bonnier has been in the business of collecting, analyzing and distributing information for 200 years. AAC Clyde Space has built a distinctive position by combining satellite technology with operational data and services. The company has demonstrated an ability to develop real capability across both missions and downstream applications, creating a strong foundation for continued long-term development. We are excited to participate in a next chapter of providing space-based insights for more informed decisions and resilient societies." What do you hope to contribute as a Board member? "I hope to contribute with perspectives around strategic focus, prioritisation and long-term value creation. AAC Clyde Space operates in a field where technological capability, execution and commercial relevance increasingly need to work hand in hand." How do you view the broader space sector today? "Space-based capabilities are becoming increasingly integrated into everyday operations across many sectors. AAC Clyde Space has been at the forefront of developing satellite-based VDES. Now, together with the U.S. Coast Guard Research and Development Center, we are taking another step evaluating the capability with Sedna-2. The focus is on how VDES can support the exchange of safety and navigation information beyond the reach of terrestrial systems. A major milestone for the Greek Connectivity Programme and a big moment for AAC Clyde Space, with our CubeCAT laser communication terminals flying onboard both HELIOS and SELENE.   CubeCAT is enabling high-speed optical data downlinks and pushing forward next-generation space connectivity.
