cannot get hold of them app didnt even work on race day! 0/10
Be wary. I tried the free trial. I cancelled it in good time. Thankfully I took a screenshot of the cancellation. They have tried to charge me regardless and have emailed me to say my payment method failed and asked me to update it. I would be very hesitant to try a free trial again
Be careful when you buy the app you cannot cancel your subscription so you have to pay for a full year - that’s crazy - any other apps you can cancel and you will not be charged more than one Month from the next first. I used it for three months but as soon as you reach your goal you cannot make a new plan to maiktain the runnning form. I will never buy it again as soon as I’m out
I ordered my shorts a month ago, and nothing. They finally arrived and are ok, not great just ok.

The shorts I ordered were far too baggy even though I ordered my normal size. When I tried to initiate my refund which I did after just a few days they kept sending back offers of partial refunds 20-30% or discounts, but would not refund and return the product. Then finally after 5-6 e mails they said to get a refund you needed to return it all the way to China at your own expense. Basically the refund policy is a sham and I for one would never deal with this company again. So beware!

The app is great. The customer service is not. I have been trying to reach out to cancel an order, I received an automated AI message. I then asked for a refund. Same thing. It has been three days with no response. What is going on?

Meg is brilliant and so extremely helpful!
Very useful for making training plans with AI. It would be useful to have more interactions with the AI to adapt the plan along the road.
I love the additional motivation for improving my running (I am an oldie) but clearly the App management / leadership is under the age of 20 and thinks that an App does not need great customer service. I have had a few "system issues" , the last one being locked out of an annual subscription after a few months and now being offered a new free trial etc like they have no idea I am a subscriber with a running plan in progress. Typical Customer support reponse begins with a lie "we have a heavy volume of messages" (where they mean, "we think you will put up with waiting at least a day for a response, so we won't employ enough agents"). Then it gets worse with a pretty poor AI bot that only deals with limited easy issues (don't they all!) . Even threatening to quit and get my money back does not get any quicker response. Shame on Strava for buying this and not ensuring good strong management. If I was Strava I would ask Runna to implement its own "Injury break" and slow down on recruiting clients until it can look after the current ones". I guess Runna sadly is like many consumer Apps, great when it works, but terrible when there is a problem of their making. So try it but just hope you don't have any problems, or you will find you are very much "running on your own"
I experienced a technical issue with my local currency when trying to pay for my membership. The amount I needed to pay was showing differently on your website's pricing page, in the mobile app, and in my account settings on the web. Three different prices for one payment. Rosie from your customer experience team kept me informed throughout the process and was very helpful. With the help of the technical team, a single price is now displayed on both your website and app/web payment channels. Thank you so much for your help.
This app stopped working very often and freezed several times. I used this for four months, I liked it first but exercises were the same kinds and only changed intensity. To be honest, we could search free exercises online and we don't have to spend £15 monthly. Today, I decided to cancel my subscription as the app didn't open whole day. It seems very heavy app. Anyway, I cannot recommend this app to anyone.
I’ve followed several half-marathon training plans through Garmin, Trenara, etc. Runna is really next level.
What I like compared to other plans is that there’s a stronger focus on building volume (longruns), while using intervals within that volume to work on your half-marathon race pace.
In the app you can also add additional strength exercises for your legs and core. A nice addition to the original training plan.
I feel stronger than ever (42) and in two weeks I’ll be standing at the start of my 13th half marathon, feeling fresh. 🏃♂️💪

I really loved using this app and it worked really well during my runs, but there are some critical parts missing and I am unable to get to the start line of my half marathon this weekend because I injured myself following the Runna training plan.
I downloaded the Runna app with 18 training weeks to go before my first half marathon. I can comfortably run a 10K, and wanted a structured training plan to feel confident on the day.
I ran maybe once or twice a month before, and while setting up the plan there was a warning saying "number of runs per week should be no more than one run more than you currently do, to prevent injury". However, there was no option to select 1 run per week and increase on that during the plan.
I stuck to the plan for 4-5 weeks, and unfortunately developed tendonitis in both ankles (which turned into cankles!) from it, and ended up having to take 6 weeks off running. My physio said tendons take 6 weeks longer than muscles to adapt to a new load, and it was just too much too soon.
I created a new plan with 9 weeks to go, hoping for just a gentler plan to prevent injury but still be able to build the distance, and again the least option was 2 runs per week, with an alert to say it was skipping a few intro weeks due to the little time left before the event.
With that, I developed the same injury, and progressed no further than my previous 10k time before Runna. Overall I am very disappointed to not be able to make the event this weekend, and (despite probably increasing on my fitness a little), being injured due to a plan that was more intensive than it needed to be for what my goals were.
There should be a "report injury" function in the plan, or at least a once a week plan for someone who is just looking to improve their running and make/complete their first half marathon event, rather than going for a fast time.

I cancelled my membership in October 2025 and am still being billed for it despite numerous attempts and even a fraud report to PayPal. Do NOT use.

So back in 2024 I completed my first parkrun on 6th of January so from there I set myself a challenge to try and complete 50 in one year due to weather and some been cancelled. I didn’t manage to Get the 50 in that year. I then moved on to do a 10 K in York from there. I signed up to use runner setting Me three runs per week an easy run temper run then a long run per mind. I’ve never run past 5K previously and then went to run the 10k from a 12 week plan it was so good using the App and super super easy to use. Then plucked up the courage and signed up to do a half marathon and then hooked my game on the runner and signed up to do a marathon in 2025 which was the Manchester one so from using Runner App I’ve managed to progress my running capabilities with a set planning place that I can then follow with ease. I’ve been using runner for about nearly 3 years now and has really improved my mental health my all of health and well-being and I just love it. I try to promote Runna whenever I can and will continue to do so hopefully be part of the runner team in the distant future till then I will still progress my running using the app

I accidentally signed up for a subscription with Runna and realised almost immediately. I emailed straight away asking for it to be cancelled.
Since then, I have chased them three separate times and have never received a single reply. No acknowledgement, no response, nothing.
It’s incredibly frustrating to be completely ignored. Mistakes happen – I understand that – but the absolute lack of communication is unacceptable. You can’t just take people’s money and ignore their emails.
Really disappointed with the customer service experience. I expected much better.
