IT Engineer (Building Management Systems)

As a preferred supplier to one of our biggest financial organisations, I am seeking for an IT Engineer for a 12 months+ contract in Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business, facilities, and security requirements into technical BMS solutions (e.g., HVAC, Energy management etc).
• Onboard and integrate new BMS installations into the network and operational landscape, ensuring compliance with internal security and architecture standards.
• Perform technical risk assessments and vulnerability remediation for BMS devices, networks, and applications.
• Monitor, maintain, test and validate existing BMS solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and alignment with operational needs.

Experience:

• You have Building management systems knowledge and experience
• You have computer networking knowledge and experience
• You are an analytical and critical thinker with technical understanding of IT systems
• You have experience in an Agile DevOps environment, where the Scrum principles are used
• You are creative in producing technical solutions and can operate even when requirements are uncertain
• You have Azure CICD knowledge and you are able to automate end‑to‑end operational activities, including certificate lifecycle management, patching processes etc
• You have at least a Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related field
• You have knowledge of ITIL
• You have experience in using IT guidelines, standards and best practices
