🏆 And here's our other mysterious winner for day two of the 𝗚𝗙𝗛𝗘𝗨𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝘅 Lawa World competition! Ron van den Ouweland had a particularly unique method to getting enough steps in to secure the lead: spending the rest of the afternoon doing yard work, while an exasperated #2 Sandra van Rijswijk competitively struggles to keep up. Fortunately, she is a good sport, as seen here by the sportsmanlike congratulations to our champion. ✌ Congrats and well done to all participants! 👏 Paul Snijder Jurriaan van Rijswijk M Sc René Luigies John Harrison Monique Keizer - Oosterwijk Hannieta Beuving Jeroen Frenken

Games for Health Europe heeft dit gerepost
We recently had the honour of being part of Games for Health Europe 2026, where we showcased several of our healthcare solutions. Over the past year, we have been working on Handi (“handig” in Dutch), in collaboration with Delta Family Doctors and Games for Health, with support from CZ. Handy is an 𝗔𝗜-𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 designed to reduce the workload caused by incoming calls for doctors’ assistants and medical reception staff. On the first day, during the closing keynote, we gave a live demo showing how Handy can handle a wide range of tasks, including both on-topic and off-topic questions. We are now exploring a follow-up in collaboration with Brainport Eindhoven within the Eindhoven region. On the second day, Veerle Andries from Odion spoke about her research project on the use of 𝗩𝗥 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 purposes. When working with people with mild intellectual disabilities, it is important to recognise that, under stress, communication requires the ability to shift your frame of reference and understand the client’s emotional state. This approach is called mentalising (“mentaliseren” in Dutch). At ImproVive, we have been developing a new version of Odion’s VR app to help professionals practise a mentalising approach, using AI-powered avatars, to create a richer training experience. On both days, ImproVive was present with a booth to discuss these solutions and to showcase a new AI kiosk on discrimination. Together with SDGHUB.NL, we developed an interactive 𝗔𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲. The goal of the experience is to raise awareness of how discrimination adds to the pressure healthcare workers already face. The kiosk encourages discussion and reflection, and can also collect stories from users. It is part of a broader campaign to reduce undesirable behaviour and help create a safer workplace. In all of this, we see XR, VR, and AI as important tools in healthcare: helping reduce workload, support training, and creating awareness. We all have a role to play in keeping healthcare affordable and manageable in the future. I am proud that, at ImproVive, we are able to contribute through our creative skills. I would like to thank the Games for Health Europe team for a wonderful event at Natlab — thank you René Luigies, John Harrison, Sandra van Rijswijk , Jurriaan van Rijswijk M Sc , and all the other team members.
