Our management team led by our MD, Girish Sharma paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mr. Olanipekun Olukoyede. The Commission was commended for the stellar work they are doing in delivering their mandate. Conversations centred on the financial dimensions of the illicit alcohol trade and the role of stronger enforcement in protecting Nigeria's economy. The team underscored the importance of enforcement that targets the financiers, and money flows behind these operations, alongside continued product-level action. Opportunities for closer collaboration were also explored, particularly around intelligence sharing on illicit financial flows, asset tracing, and the disruption of organized networks, all critical to safeguarding government revenue and ensuring a level playing field for compliant manufacturers. We thank the Chairman and the EFCC team for the warm reception and constructive engagement, and we look forward to building on this partnership.
