In the first quarter of the year, the Centre for Population Health Initiatives has focused on building solutions that are not only responsive, but transformative. We introduced new approaches to expanding access to prevention, reaching over 1,200 individuals with HIV testing and services across Lagos and Rivers State bringing care closer to the communities that need it most. We invested in people as drivers of change, equipping young artivists with the tools to shape narratives, challenge stigma, and lead advocacy through storytelling, outreach, art, and prevention. And we strengthened the future of digital health innovation, advancing the RISE Project into its clinical trial phase with systems, tools, and youth-centered design in place to deliver more effective, responsive interventions.
