SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026 on April 27-29 was incredible—twice the size of last year with innovations that felt straight out of the future! 🚀 I’m incredibly proud of our work at Tehnopol and thrilled that the #FinEstJapan project provided us the chance to participate, pitch, and network on such a global stage. A huge thank you to Nordic Innovation House Japan (Srinidhi Ashokkumar) for the collaboration, which gave our companies the chance to pitch and showcase at the Kiraboshi booth. A special highlight was seeing the Minister Liisa Pakosta of our 'small but mighty' nation at the grand opening, sharing Estonia’s ICT success and our 'AI leap' with the world. We also wrapped up with a fantastic seminar and networking session organized by Kenji Ozaki, providing our companies with invaluable new connections. SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026 on April 27-29 collected some of the most exciting innovation in Asia - and the Nordics - under one roof this week. Our partners at Nordic Innovation House - Tokyo organized company pitches from a broad range of Nordic start-ups while Stockholm Business Region, Helsinki Partners, Copenhagen Capacity and Nordic Asian Venture Alliance shared the benefits of scaling a company in the Nordics with Japanese and international innovators. An internationally integrated and highly collaborative business ecosystem, strong access to capital, and an emphasis on work–life balance were among the strengths shared by the Nordic delegation. For OSI Tokyo, SusHi Tech was an opportunity to engage in open dialogue on how science, innovation, and trusted institutions can support deeper Japan–Nordics collaboration. We look forward to continuing these conversations beyond SusHi Tech Tokyo.
