Today, in a significant follow-up to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, the Government of Madhya Pradesh convened a high-level meeting in Bhopal with #Google to advance a shared vision for AI-led transformation across the State. The discussions focused on enabling an AI-powered Simhastha 2028 through intelligent solutions for crowd management, safety, accessibility, and real-time citizen assistance, alongside the establishment of an Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence to drive innovation, skilling, and startup growth in Madhya Pradesh. MPIDC continues to strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s export ecosystem through active coordination and industry-focused initiatives under the Government of India’s ‘Districts as Export Hubs (DEH)’ programme. The District Export Promotion Committee (DEPC) meeting was held at Indore under the chairmanship of Collector Shri. Shivam Verma, in the presence of Shri. Abhishek Sharma, SEZ Commissioner & Shri. Himanshu Prajapati Director, MPIDC RO Indore , along with representatives from EXIM Bank, ECGC, NABARD, APEDA, Pharmexcil, industry associations, exporters and farmer groups. The meeting focused on strengthening export potential in pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food processing and value-added products. Key discussions covered export infrastructure, logistics and rail connectivity, regulatory facilitation, soybean and onion-based exports, and pharma manufacturing ecosystems to enhance global competitiveness in Madhya Pradesh. Emphasis was also laid on capacity building, export awareness, market access and greater participation of MSMEs, farmers and women entrepreneurs in export activities.
