  • IN-SPACe is pleased to announce that NGEs can now apply for transfer of technology including spacecraft buses (I-1K , I-2K, I-3K, I-4K and I-6K Bus), Space-Grade Travelling Wave Tubes (TWTs), and the copper plating procedure for Tungsten-Rhenium helices used in TWTAs. This builds on a broader and consistent effort by IN-SPACE to open up ISRO - Indian Space Research Organization technologies to non-government entities (NGEs), enabling deeper participation from the private sector in India’s space journey. The latest additions further expand the scope of available technologies, making it easier for industry players to access critical components and processes that were earlier limited to institutional use. In addition, a comprehensive and evolving list of technology transfer opportunities is available for NGEs to explore and apply. Interested organisations can access the full list and submit applications online here: https://lnkd.in/gqhCFxgp Pawan Goenka Dr Jitendra Singh

  • Strengthening Indo-African Space Ties: Harnessing Technology for the Global South. Delighted to have participated in the inaugural session of the IN-SPACe Capacity Building Course planned in association ITEC @MEA , on ‘Space Technologies for the Benefit of Mankind: Indo-African Perspective’ today at the Indian Aviation Academy, New Delhi. It was an honor to share the stage with our Chief Guest, Dr. Shailesh Nayak, Director, @NIAS. His keynote address on the "Importance of Space Technologies for Developing Countries" was profoundly informative, offering a masterclass on how space-based assets—from remote sensing to satellite communication—are not just scientific milestones, but essential tools for social equity and sustainable development across the Global South. During my briefing on IN-SPACe initiatives, I emphasized our commitment to the vision of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai: that we must be second to none in the application of advanced technologies to the real problems of man and society. Key Takeaways from the Session: Democratizing Space: How IN-SPACe is opening the doors for the private sector and academia to foster a robust space ecosystem. Capacity Building: India’s dedication to sharing its "Space Stack" with our partners from Global South to build indigenous capabilities. South-South Cooperation: Using space technology as a bridge to solve shared challenges in climate resilience and resource management. As we released the Compendium of Abstracts today, it was inspiring to see the energy of the international participants. Together, we are ensuring that space remains a frontier of peace and progress for all. #SpaceTech #INSPACe #ISRO #GlobalSouth #ITEC #IndoAfricanCooperation #SpaceDiplomacy #SustainableDevelopment Pawan Goenka Dr Jitendra Singh Narendra Modi
