  • This year marks 20 years of remembering Frank Hirschvogel, a name that today stands for opportunity, education, and encouragement for young talent. Although Frank left us far too early, his legacy continues to inspire and positively impact many lives through the Frank Hirschvogel Stiftung. What began as a way to honour his memory has today become an initiative that supports students, recognises excellence, and encourages young minds to pursue their aspirations with confidence. Carrying this spirit forward, on 6th May 2026, we had the privilege of felicitating 15 students for their academic excellence as part of our continued association with College of Engineering, Pune (COEP). One of the most heartening moments this year was seeing the consistency shown by many students. Several awardees from previous years continued to perform exceptionally well and were recognised once again. The event became even more special when two final-year B.Tech students from COEP, Nitya K. Biyani and Danish Kabeer, currently interning with us at, shared their experiences and learnings from their journey so far. A sincere thank you to Dr. Sunil B. Mane for organising the event. We also missed our CEO, Sahil Jain, a proud COEP alumnus and FHS Head, Ulrich Riedel, whose continued support towards this initiative remains invaluable. Once again, congratulations to all the award winners - Ayush Ambhorkar, @Omkar Suhas, Prathviraj Chavan, Adityan Arumuganainar, Apoorv Kamble, Payal Sankpal, Pratham Tandale, Mehmood Deshmukh, @Bhagyashree Patil, Sameer Bharitkar, Amala Deodhar, Ameya Naik, Nikhil Sahita, Mihir Chakradeo and Mann Wani. #FrankHirschvogelFoundation #COEP #Education #StudentExcellence #Hirschvogel #hci

  • From precision engineering in Germany to powering next generation mobility programs in India, Hirschvogel’s journey continues to accelerate. We are proud to share that Hirschvogel has once again been recognized by Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts for our contribution to electric vehicle and hybrid technology programs. Receiving this recognition for the second time in three years reflects the steady progress Hirschvogel has made in supporting the future of mobility. These programs form an important part of Toyota’s future focused “Multi-Pathway” strategy and highlight the growing importance of pragmatic mobility solutions for global markets. Most importantly, this achievement belongs to the teams across Hirschvogel whose dedication and effort make milestones like this possible every day. From shopfloor operations to engineering, quality, maintenance, logistics, and support functions, every contribution has played a pivotal role in this recognition. This year has also been a year of growth and acceleration for Hirschvogel in India, bringing new opportunities, higher expectations, and exciting challenges. In many ways, this aligns closely with the spirit of Toyota’s Annual Supplier Meet theme, the “Year of Acceleration,” as we continue to scale capabilities and strengthen our contribution to the future of sustainable mobility. We sincerely thank Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts and all our partners for their continued support and collaboration as we move forward together in this journey of growth and transformation. • Global careers today are no longer defined by geography, but by skills, adaptability, and the ability to work across cultures. At the PASCH Alumni Meet 2026 hosted by Goethe Institut Indien, Hirschvogel Components India had the opportunity to engage with students exploring this shift. As part of the PASCH network, which connects over 2,000 schools with German language ties, the event brought together language, culture, and industry on one platform. For us, as a German manufacturing organization, it was an opportunity to demonstrate how these elements translate into real career pathways. Our HR Head, Priyanka Uthra Kholia, joined the “Career Pathways” panel alongside Arthur Rapp from DAAD India and Rumani Varunjikar from Indo-German Chamber of Commerce – Pro Recognition. The session was facilitated by Simran Dhingra, bringing together diverse perspectives on the growing presence of German industry in India. The discussion moved beyond conventional career advice and focused on what truly sustains long-term professional growth. Careers are built on strong behavioral foundations and strengthened through continuous learning. With India’s expanding role through Global Capability Centers, professionals today have the opportunity to work in global environments while being based locally. At the same time, the ability to navigate change and uncertainty continues to differentiate those who grow consistently. An important perspective that stood out was the role of language in combination with capability. While English remains fundamental, German language skills act as a strong enabler within German organizations, supporting more effective collaboration and deeper cultural integration. However, their true impact is realized when complemented by strong technical and behavioral capabilities. It is this combination that enables individuals to build sustainable, long-term careers, with a clear focus on capability development rather than short-term outcomes. Another reflection was the natural cultural alignment between India and Germany. A shared emphasis on family orientation and education creates a strong foundation for collaboration, often making it easier for professionals to connect and work effectively in global teams. We also shared a closer look at life at Hirschvogel, including our work, our culture, and the importance we place on intercultural understanding. Through initiatives such as our Work & Travel program, internship opportunities and the Frank Hirschvogel Stiftung scholarship, we aim to enable young talent to experience global work environments early in their careers. The level of curiosity and engagement from students stood out, particularly around how they can prepare themselves for such opportunities. We continue to believe that language is more than a skill. It is a gateway to understanding, collaboration, and global growth. #GlobalCareers #FutureOfWork #GermanLanguage #PASCH #Intercultural #ManufacturingCareers

  • International Women’s Day has its roots in the early 1900s, when women across the world began raising their voices for better working conditions, fair wages, and equal opportunities at the workplace. What started as a movement led by women has today become a global moment to recognize their contributions and the progress made toward equality. At Hirschvogel Components India, that journey is visible on our shopfloor. Just a few years ago, seeing women working in forging operations was uncommon. Today, that story is slowly changing. Over the last few years, the percentage of women in our workforce has grown significantly to more than 8%, with more women stepping into manufacturing roles and becoming an integral part of our operations. While women deserve to be celebrated every day, Women’s Day gives us a chance to celebrate them together. This year, we marked the occasion by taking our women employees for a day out at Imagicaaworld Entertainment, a chance to unwind, laugh, and enjoy time away from their many responsibilities, both at work and at home. We at Hirschvogel believe progress is built not just through machines and technology, but through people and opportunity. And that is what #ForgingEquality means to us. #WomensDay #ForgingEquality #WomenInManufacturing

  • Some milestones define direction; others reaffirm conviction. #WEF2026 in #Davos marked one such moment for Hirschvogel Components India. At the World Economic Forum 2026, Hirschvogel Components India signed a MoU with the Government of Maharashtra (GoM), for an investment of INR 750 crore. The MoU was signed in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, by our CEO Mr. Sahil Jain, along with Dr. P Anbalagan IAS, Mr. Karan chauhan, Director – HCI, and Mr. Markus Obholzer, Plant Head, Hirschvogel Group. This investment reflects our strong confidence in Maharashtra as a preferred destination for advanced manufacturing. It marks the next phase of our growth, with plans to generate over 1,000 employment opportunities, strengthen local capabilities, and contribute meaningfully to the state’s industrial ecosystem. Part of the German Automotive Components Manufacturing Company Hirschvogel Group, HCI has built its presence in India steadily over the last 15 years. Since the commissioning of our Sanaswadi facility in 2016, Pune has become a critical pillar within our global manufacturing network, supported by 1,200+ skilled professionals producing high-precision components for leading automotive OEMs in India and international markets. As the automotive industry undergoes a fundamental transformation, this investment reinforces our focus on advanced manufacturing technologies and electric vehicle components, aligning our long-term growth with the global transition towards sustainable mobility. #HCI #WEF2026 #FDIinMaharashtra #Davos #MagneticMaharashtra #ElectricMobility #FutureOfMobility #Automotive #MakeInIndia

  • On 8th December 2025, we had the opportunity to engage with the next generation of leaders during a visit to the Indo-German Training Centre . The delegation comprised Ulrich Riedel, Chairman of the Board of the Frank Hirschvogel Stiftung and Sahil Jain, CEO of Hirschvogel Components India. The visit focused on strengthening our collaboration with IGTC and reinforcing our commitment to developing young professionals. During the interaction, the team presented an overview of the Hirschvogel Group and the mission of the Frank Hirschvogel Stiftung, highlighting the organisation’s long-standing dedication to education, empowerment, and global, practice-oriented talent development. A key highlight of the visit was the awarding of the Frank Hirschvogel Stiftung Scholarships to two students from the PGPBA Batch 2025–27: Rohan Dhumre and Sarthak Dhote. Their selection was based on multiple faculty interactions and an assessment of their managerial skills. The delegation also engaged with PPO candidates from the PGPBA Batch 2024–26, Vidhi Aher and Karuna Dsouza , who will join Hirschvogel next year, along with interns from the PGPBA Batch 2025–27, Anushka Joglekar and Mrunmayi Joshi, who will begin in January 2026. These engagements reaffirm our belief that strong industry–academia partnerships are essential for shaping future-ready talent. We look forward to deepening our association with IGTC and continuing to invest in young professionals who will contribute to Hirschvogel and the broader Indo–German business ecosystem. #FHS #Scholarship #hci #igtc

  • Last week, we hosted an intercultural workshop for our GCC employees with StrengthMiner® Consulting LLP, bringing together colleagues from Germany and India for a day of learning, honest conversations, and shared reflection. Before the workshop, both teams used AI to explore about each other’s cultural habits. The results were insightful and at times quite funny. Our German colleagues tried to decode the famous “Indian head nod,” which can politely mean yes, no, or let’s talk later over chai. Meanwhile, Indian colleagues learnt that not all Germans communicate in the famously direct style - many prefer a softer approach as well. These small discoveries helped everyone ease into the discussions with curiosity and openness. During the session, we spoke about communication styles, trust signals, daily work expectations, and the small behaviours that influence collaboration. Many assumptions were replaced with real understanding, and stereotypes gave way to practical insights. It became clear that while we come from different cultural backgrounds, we value the same things at work: transparency, respect, accountability, and teamwork. The day concluded with the creation of a joint Collaboration Charter, capturing shared commitments that will guide how we work together going forward. Special thanks to Antje Ute Bauer, Oliver Hahn and Priyanka Uthra Kholia for designing and facilitating the workshop. #AI #Culture #OneHirschvogel #GCC #InterculturalTraining

  • The way businesses view human rights and sustainability is evolving—and Hirschvogel Components India had the privilege of sharing this perspective on the global stage at the United Nations Forum on Responsible Business and Human Rights 2025 in Bangkok. Our CEO, Sahil Jain, joined global leaders in an interactive dialogue on “Enhancing the Human Rights Mindset : Interactive Dialogue with Businesses.” He emphasized two convictions that guide us at Hirschvogel Group: 🌱 Responsibility and competitiveness are not opposites—they are partners 🌱 Compliance is only the baseline; collaboration across the ecosystem drives real progress The real opportunity lies precisely at this intersection of sustainability and competitiveness, creating a collaborative ecosystem for the future. At Hirschvogel India, responsibility is embedded in our culture, not imposed as a mandate. Every employee is trained from their very first day on human rights, anti-corruption, and non-discrimination, supported by strong grievance and whistleblower systems. Our actions prove that sustainability strengthens long-term competitiveness. Solar panels on every plant roof, energy-efficient motors saving ~6,760 kWh each month, reconditioned forging tools and recycled lubricants reducing steel demand and waste, and free bus services with canteen facilities enhancing employee well-being all reflect this commitment. TÜV Süd-certified emissions management and financing linked to sustainability KPIs further show how responsibility translates into measurable business value. Frameworks such as India’s BRSR and Europe’s LKSG remind us that no company can succeed in isolation. That is why we work closely with customers and suppliers not just on quality, but also on ethics, transparency, and sustainability - because responsibility must be shared. At Hirschvogel, we remain committed to driving this shift pragmatically - not just to meet today’s requirements, but to build lasting value for people, communities, and the planet, shaping a better tomorrow. Special thanks to Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and GIZ Bangladesh for hosting the session. #UNBHR #Humanrights #Sustainability
