Lessons Learned

Last week we had feared that esbuild may be transpiling our esm since we set target to es6.
We don't want esbuild to transpile anything.
Via inspecting esbuild source and verifying with a PR (), confirmed that this isn't happening. We can set target: 'esnext' with no change to any of our binaries.

• Continuing in-progress work (Bento SSR, TS).
• Lazy-loading Bento WC half-pager.

• add ability to generate ssr ready binaries ( amphtml#37404 in review)
• updated the insertion location of amp-story-dvh-polyfill script to be before any css to possibly mitigate CLS ( amp-toolbox#1274)
• tested 30 urls with the amp-geo ssr server logic and tested with GB and JP geolocation through vpn

• Early and working prototype of Client A/B testing.

Lessons Learned

• Colliding multi-arm tests are difficult to achieve with text-based DOM diffs, marking most of the previous proposal as obsolete.

What's Next

• Identify example archetypes examples (SSR, SPA) to validate and benchmark the prototype.
• Complete the prototype and document the new proposal.
• Investigate cache usage discrepancy in Web Stories.
