Use the Select a Data Source page to select a data source for the data source view.
Relational data sources
Select the data source for which you want to create a data source view.
This list shows data sources that have been added to the project. If the data source that you want is not in this list, click New Data Source to add a new data source to the project.
Note
Although online analytical processing (OLAP) data sources may be listed for the project, data source views can be added only for relational data sources.
Data source properties
Lists the provider information from the connection string for the currently selected data source.
New Data Source
Opens the Data Source Wizard in which you can create a new data source that will be added to the project.
