# Select a Data Source (Data Source View Wizard) (Analysis Services)
  Use the **Select a Data Source** page to select a data source for the data source view.  
  
## Options  
 **Relational data sources**  
 Select the data source for which you want to create a data source view.  
  
 This list shows data sources that have been added to the project. If the data source that you want is not in this list, click **New Data Source** to add a new data source to the project.  
  
> [!NOTE]  
>  Although online analytical processing (OLAP) data sources may be listed for the project, data source views can be added only for relational data sources.  
  
 **Data source properties**  
 Lists the provider information from the connection string for the currently selected data source.  
  
 **New Data Source**  
 Opens the Data Source Wizard in which you can create a new data source that will be added to the project.
