Orange est l’un des principaux opérateurs de télécommunications dans le monde, avec un chiffre d’affaires de 40,3 milliards d’euros en 2024 et 124 100 salariés au 30 septembre 2025, dont 68 000 en France. Le Groupe servait 310 millions de clients au 30 septembre 2025, dont 270 millions de clients mobile et 23 millions de clients haut débit fixe. Ces chiffres tiennent compte de la déconsolidation de certaines activités en Espagne liées à la création de la co-entreprise MASORANGE. 🇪🇸 Today marks a very special milestone for Orange Cyberdefense ! I am particularly proud and excited to announce the launch of Orange Cyberdefense España, alongside our partner MasOrange. This is far more than a market expansion. It is a major step forward in our ambition to build a trusted European #cybersecurity leader combining local proximity, sovereign expertise and global cyber threat intelligence to help organizations navigate an increasingly complex digital world. This launch is also a concrete milestone of the Orange Group’s #TrustTheFuture strategic plan, where cybersecurity plays a central role in strengthening digital trust, resilience and sovereignty across Europe. Spain, one of Europe’s fastest-growing cyber markets, is strategic in this vision. By combining the strength of MasOrange’s local footprint with the expertise of our 3,300 cybersecurity specialists and our Dynamic SOC capabilities, we will help public institutions, private organizations and B2C customers prevent, detect and respond to cyber threats with greater confidence and speed. Over the coming months, we will recruit more than 50 cybersecurity experts in Spain to support this ambition and help build one of the strongest cyber ecosystems in Europe. And this is only the beginning. Continuing our commitment to support Africa’s growth. Two inspiring days at Africa Forward in Nairobi, where Heads of State, business leaders and entrepreneurs gathered around one shared conviction and Orange showed up with concrete commitments. Africa has the world’s youngest population. Its youth already speaks the language of digital. The real question is not whether they are ready, but whether we give them the leverage to go further. That is why we made three commitments by 2030: ➡️Orange will have trained more than 3 million young people in AI, cybersecurity, cloud and digital entrepreneurship, through free and certified programs. ➡️We will open 50 new Orange Digital Centers, bringing our total to 100 across Africa and the Middle East, supported by partnerships. ➡️Beyond skills, we are committed to turning talent into opportunity. We will support more than 500 new startups by 2030 in healthcare, agriculture, fintech, education and e-commerce. And because tomorrow’s AI must speak Wolof, Swahili and Hausa, not only English or French, we are developing local language models through our super-app Max it. I deeply believe that Africa does not need promises. It needs trusted, long-term partners. At Orange, that is exactly what we intend to be. What a great start for our Trust the future plan! Orange achieved strong growth in Q1 with revenues up +3.5% and EBITDAaL up +6.6%. We delivered strong retail services performance across the board: +1.1% in France and Europe and remarkable double digit growth in MEA! We confirm with confidence our 2026 guidance and upgraded EBITDAaL growth to above 3% (previously c.3%). This results from our great teams’ focus on enhancing the satisfaction of our 340 million customers strengthening our leadership, and providing new innovative retail and B2B offers that integrate AI and cybersecurity. The first months of 2026 also marked a pivotal step in our consolidation strategy: ✔️ in France: entering exclusive negotiations with the Altice France group for the acquisition of SFR jointly with Bouygues Telecom and the Free–iliad Group; ✔️ in Spain: expected MasOrange full ownership closing in H1. Une nouvelle étape stratégique pourrait s’ouvrir pour le marché Français des télécoms. Aujourd'hui, Orange entre en négociations exclusives aux côtés de Bouygues Telecom et Free-Groupe iliad en vue de l’acquisition de SFR. C'est une étape importante pour l'avenir des télécoms en France. Dans un marché mature, la vraie question n'est plus combien d'opérateurs ? — mais bien, comment continuer à investir massivement et durablement pour toujours mieux servir nos clients, sécuriser nos infrastructures, innover et préparer l'avenir ? Les réseaux télécoms sont des infrastructures critiques. C'est une réalité chaque jour : Ils font tourner nos hôpitaux, nos entreprises, nos services publics. Ils sont clefs pour l’intelligence artificielle, la cybersécurité et la souveraineté numérique de la France. Cette operation permettra de préserver un écosystème fortement concurrentiel, dans l’un des marchés les plus compétitifs d’Europe au bénéfice des consommateurs. Nous sommes au début d'un long processus. Cette opération devra faire l'objet de consultations sociales et d'un examen par les autorités réglementaires compétentes. Rien n'est acquis. « Go Go Go » That’s what I take away from my time in Morocco with the Orange Middle East and Africa teams. What struck me most was the collective energy. The dynamism, the enthusiasm, the momentum you can feel in every conversation. A real pride in what has already been achieved, and a shared determination to go even further. I had the opportunity to engage both with our teams across the region and with journalists. Different conversations, same conviction: in a more complex world, our strength lies in combining global scale with deep local roots. Our Orange multi-local model is a real advantage. Because strategy only matters when it comes to life on the ground and with impact, through digital and financial inclusion creating a virtuous circle with our 50 Orange Digital Center, our strong support to 450+ startups, and a clear path toward net zero carbon by 2040. This is what makes #Trustthefuture so tangible across OMEA: growth driven by technology, grounded in people, and built to last.
