Had the pleasure of attending Women's Health Week in New York last week. Really strong room of founders, clinicians, researchers, operators, policymakers, and investors. Most definitely one of the more thoughtful healthcare conversations I’ve been part of in a while. • There’s robust capital and commercial interest building in women’s health, but most of it is still concentrated in fertility, maternal care, and oncology. • Some of the biggest opportunities ahead feel underbuilt: menopause, cardiovascular disease, metabolic health, autoimmune conditions, PCOS/PMOS, endometriosis, neuro health, etc. • The most compelling companies are solving hard infra problems - reimbursement, diagnostics, clinical workflows, access, and evidence generation (not just building consumer brands), • There was also a very clear message for founders: articulate the pain point, economic value, reimbursement pathway, and scalability early on. • And overall, the conversation feels much more mature now. Less “why does women’s health matter?” and more “how do we build enduring healthcare companies here?” Came away thinking this will continue being one of the more important healthcare investment themes over the next decade. #WHW2026 #vc #healthtech TELUS Global Ventures (TGV)
