As our industry rapidly evolves, we have a responsibility to build an ethical and environmentally friendly future. This commitment is central to our mission: 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. For the past four years, our sustainability committee has been structuring this approach, working to translate our values into concrete actions based on three principles: consistency, efficiency, and circularity. Since then, we've better defined our initiatives, including: ● Monitoring our GHG emissions through an annual carbon footprint assessment ● Guiding our suppliers through a formal code of ethics and conduct ● Reducing polystyrene in our packaging ● Developing projects related to the circular economy and product upcycling These are real improvements, but they do not offset our entire footprint. That is why our approach continues to evolve while staying grounded in the same commitment: measure, understand, and adjust. In practice, our insulating panels have been contributing to LEED-certified projects for over 15 years, a reminder that the performance of our products plays a direct role in the sustainability of the buildings we help create. On this Earth Day, we do not claim to have all the answers. However, we choose to move forward with transparency regarding what we are doing, and what remains to be done, because beyond the envelope, we strive to have a real impact. It was a pleasure hosting you in Strathroy, Dory Azar. Glad you enjoyed the tour as much as we enjoyed the discussions. Always great to connect and share what goes on behind the scenes.
What an experience to visit the Norbec plant in Strathroy to talk SpecLink! Touring the plant and seeing how sophisticated their operations are was fascinating. Special thanks to Jonathan Laplante and Valerie Hoziel for their kindness, hospitality, and humour! RIB Software

R-Value does not stop at the foam core. In traditional hard nose panels, the perimeter includes wood reinforcement. Foam insulates and wood deteriorates. When insulation is interrupted at the panel edge, the effective thermal performance at the connection changes. Norbec panels feature a wood-free perimeter. Continuous insulation at panel joints helps maintain more consistent performance throughout the panel system. In supermarket refrigeration, details at the connection matter. Want to look deeper at panel performance at the joints? Reach out to Terri Galvin, MBA to continue the conversation. #SupermarketRefrigeration #WalkInCoolers

Walking the floor at RC Show in Mississauga? Stop by booth 2529 and step into the Norbec Chill Zone. Yes, it’s a ball pit. And yes, it’s built entirely from Norbec walk-in panels. We created the Chill Zone as a relaxed space to connect, sit down, and explore how far walk-in customization can go. Layouts, finishes, configurations, and applications can all be adapted to fit the realities of foodservice spaces. If you’re at the show, come say hello and let’s talk about what you’re working on. 📍 RC Show 2026 📍 The International Centre, Mississauga

Forget the plain white box. Norex-M gives you the freedom to design the way you want — colours, profiles, reveal options, and installation in any direction. Add FLEX or VERSA fins for extra depth, and your façade becomes anything but ordinary. Why does it matter? Because one versatile panel means fewer products to coordinate, more creative control, and a building that stands out without complicating the process. Creativity and performance — all in one solution. Tell us in the comments what you want to build next and find all the details about the Norex-M right here: 👉 https://lnkd.in/eVbFxztm
