Don’t stop believing! A fast car, fast driving and some very fast thinking delivered the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD PRO victory for the #65 Ford Mustang GT3 at Laguna Seca. Laguna Seca is not a “Mustang track” but even with the odds stacked against them, the team delivered the perfect result. This is the first win for the team since Indianapolis 2025 and the first for Chris Mies and Frédéric Vervisch since their historic victory at the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona. “Chris outperformed all expectations in qualifying, and today we confirmed we have the speed to stay up front,” said Vervisch. “It’s unbelievable to see the improvements we’re making with the Evo package—especially from the vantage point of Victory Lane. I’m grateful to Ford Racing, Multimatic, and the entire team for the flawless execution.” Ford Racing IMSA - International Motor Sports Association

  • Multimatic has been building, racing, and winning with the Ford Mustang for over three decades and counting. For National Mustang Day, we’re looking back at some of the racing Mustangs that helped define its legacy, as well as the engineering and motorsport innovations behind them.

  • Take a look behind the scenes at one of Multimatic’s composites manufacturing facilities, where product and manufacturing engineering come together with deep tooling expertise and hand‑crafted workmanship. Knowledge built over decades is embedded into the team’s plans, processes and training. An exceptional level of experience, passion, pride and attention to detail is applied to every carbon fibre component that leaves the facility. This is craftsmanship, engineered.
