This week at Interac, the Asian and Pacific Islander Employee Resource Group kicked off Asian Heritage Month. Throughout the month, Interac is proud to honour the rich history, traditions and contributions of Asian and Pacific Islander communities. The kick‑off event featured an insightful panel exploring how diverse cultural backgrounds influence workplace behaviours, and highlighted the importance of learning to advocate for oneself. Jessica Inhae Lee. , Leader, Facilities, Albert Santillan, Leader, BISO ＆ IT Compliance Management and Craig Deng, Product Manager, Send Money ＆ Request Money shared their thoughts and experiences with other Interac employees, moderated by Joanna Chan, Senior Product Manager, Document Verification. A marketplace featuring talented Asian‑owned small businesses took place alongside the event.
