The Why

As part of our IT Operations team and reporting to Digital Services Manager & Workplace Manager, you will be responsible for providing first level support in troubleshooting any IT issues for the Ubank business users and resolving their queries about hardware or software issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Helpdesk Level 1 tasks, such as laptop troubleshooting, network issues, password reset, etc.
  • User and access management for systems and applications, including Office365, Active Directory, Microsoft lntune and JAMF
  • Ticket and queue management, understanding the business to enable appropriate assignment and follow up
  • Following agreed procedures and responding to requests for assistance by providing information, to enable users to resolve their problems including helping outside of core business hours
  • Ensuring that Standard Operating Environment (SOE) is consistently maintained, maintaining compliance with internal security policies and industry regulations, and support the secure operation of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
  • Aligning workplace technology with security frameworks, maintaining accurate asset records of Hardware & Software asset management (HAM & SAM) to support compliance, and ensure Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is up to date with workplace technology assets
  • Providing Level 2 support for EUC-related vulnerabilities, assisting in EUC-related incident resolution and recovery efforts, and escalating broader security incidents as necessary
  • Tracking and reporting the effectiveness of EUC security controls, and maintaining detailed documentation of EUC vulnerability management processes, patching schedules, and automation strategies
  • User Awareness & Training and Educating end-users on security best practices for workplace technology

Your Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in working in Corporate Helpdesk Environment Experience in IT service desk operations and workplace technology support.
  • A customer-centric mindset focused on delivering secure and user-friendly workplace computing environments.
  • Strong understanding of End User Computing Devices, such as Windows Laptops, Apple MacBooks and iPhones.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and methodologically approach to EUC security and management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge in Cyber Security.
  • Understanding in hardware asset management.
  • Programing/scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash scripting skills (desirable).
