Hey Y'all, I am currently in Dallas, Texas. Everything is bigger in Texas including powerline safety! I came across a clever safety video from Entergy comparing powerline contacts with everyday workplace incidents. It’s simple, relatable, and effective, exactly the kind of behavioural framing that helps people understand that powerline risks aren’t rare… they’re just routinely overlooked. The Entergy website is also a standout. Clean design, clear actions, and bilingual (English and Spanish) to reach a broader audience. A great example of how accessible communication can dramatically improve community safety outcomes. It’s time we all start investing in human‑centred safety messaging. Great to meet up with Dan Hill Director SpecTraining discussing the hot topic of trainer shortage across the VET sector, as a result of our discussion SpecTraining have agreed to work with us to support a Transition to Trainer Program. Our Transition to Trainer program has been designed to assist successful participants to achieve their Cert IV Training and Assessment qualification with full support from Intuitive Training during the practical components of the course. The program is open to electrical trades workers committed to transitioning from the field into a Qualified VET Trainer role, we have 2 spots available and will be accepting applications in the near future. Earlier this week we wrapped up our 2026 Apprentice Onboarding Program - welcoming nine new electrical apprentices into the VINCI Energies Australia Northeast family.👏🤩 Across the 11-day program, the cohort was immersed in our VINCI Values, Safety Culture, statutory training, and hands-on technical preparation to set them up for success on site.🔧 Because we take a holistic view of developing our people, the program also included nutrition and wellbeing sessions, driver safety and awareness, and financial literacy workshops - giving them the tools to thrive both at work and in life!
