That insight was part of the debate at the Hospitality Inside Think Tank (HITT) 2026 in Brussels, where industry leaders gathered for an off‑the‑record discussion on performance, sustainability and intelligent innovation. During the session “Innovation & AI: The partnerships of the tech giants – From transformation to operational impact”, Mithlesh Kumar Head of GDS & Consortia Business, Hospitality Distribution at Amadeus, joined Alexander Lennart Schmidt, alongside peers from the European Commission Mihaela Lafont and the hospitality tech ecosystem Tigran Manvelyan to explore how AI is moving from promise to execution. The discussion reinforced a clear message from Amadeus:   • AI delivers value when it is embedded into the systems and workflows where hospitality already operates.   • For AI to scale responsibly in hospitality, partnerships matter — between platforms, startups and policymakers.   • Trusted data, deep integration and global scale are what allow AI to move beyond experimentation and into day‑to‑day hotel operations.
