They are slowly returning the streets, squares and surface car parks to people and nature. Navigating the back streets to Urban Splash New Islington, the first real green and blue modern district at scale. To Ancoats Green where Shelagh McNerney Manchester City Council Planit have followed those leads to make a new park from an old one, creating play and meadows at the intersection between the outer edge communities and the middle.
