Location: North America or Europe with Requirement to Travel

Job Description
The VP of Supply Chain Value Creation will lead the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of a unified supply chain operating system. This role ensures that the Packaging & Food Technologies (PFT) platform captures full enterprise value through standardized practices, optimized network architecture, global supplier leverage, and data‑driven performance management — while divisions maintain operational ownership.

Job Description
The VP of Supply Chain Value Creation will lead the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of a unified supply chain operating system. This role ensures that the Packaging & Food Technologies (PFT) platform captures full enterprise value through standardized practices, optimized network architecture, global supplier leverage, and data‑driven performance management — while divisions maintain operational ownership.
RESPONSIBILITIES | OUTCOMES:
Supply Chain Strategy & Excellence Framework
- Develop and deploy a PFT‑wide supply chain excellence framework aligned with the business strategy.
- Define standards for planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier management.
- Establish governance models and KPIs to measure performance, risk, and improvement.
- Support detailed assessments of manufacturing and distribution footprints to identify cost, resilience, and service‑level opportunities.
- Partner with business leaders on make vs. buy, low‑cost country sourcing, modularization, and sub‑assembly strategies.
- Drive adoption of a global supplier architecture, enabling leverage of scale and reduction of supply risk.
- Support divisions in supplier selection, development, and performance management using shared best practices and common tools.
- Lead the development of supply chain data visibility tools and analytics dashboards (inventory, lead time, capacity, risk etc.).
- Partner closely with IT/ Digital to ensure data integrity and enable advanced analytics for decision‑making.
- Identify and deliver improvements in cost, working capital, service performance, and risk mitigation across the supply chain.
- Facilitate cross‑division best‑practice sharing and capability building.
- Support due diligence and acquisition integration in supply chain processes, systems, and standards.
- Influence and support division supply chain leaders while respecting their operational ownership.
- Build a strong network of cross‑functional partners in Operations, Finance, IT, and HR.
- PFT Supply Chain Excellence Framework and Operating System
- Standardized supply chain KPIs and reporting suite
- Global supplier architecture and sourcing playbook
- Network design recommendations and annual strategic roadmap
- Year‑over‑year improvements in cost, inventory, resilience, and capital efficiency
- Supply chain playbooks for M&A integrations
- 10–15+ years in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing leadership within global industrial or packaging/food technology environments.
- Experience developing supply chain standards, deploying operating systems, or leading enterprise transformation.
- Demonstrated success improving cost, service, and working capital.
- Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
- Prior involvement in network optimization, strategic sourcing, or operational excellence preferred.
- M&A integration experience is a plus.
- Enterprise thinker with the ability to influence without authority.
- Highly collaborative; able to work across divisions with different operating models.
