Position Overview
Powerus is seeking a VP, Supply Chain to build and scale a resilient supply chain capability capable of supporting high-growth manufacturing, operational deployment, and future domestic production expansion.
This role will lead sourcing, supplier management, procurement strategy, inventory planning, logistics coordination, and operational supply chain execution across the company and acquired businesses.
The ideal candidate understands how to scale supply chain operations in demanding environments while balancing speed, cost, reliability, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Build and lead company-wide supply chain operations
Develop sourcing strategies across electronics, components, manufacturing materials, and operational equipment
Establish supplier relationships and negotiate commercial agreements
Support domestic manufacturing expansion and operational scaling initiatives
Improve inventory visibility, forecasting, procurement discipline, and operational planning
Develop supply chain resilience strategies and reduce operational bottlenecks
Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to support production readiness
Drive ERP and operational systems integration related to procurement and inventory management
Support quality assurance and supplier qualification processes
Qualifications
Significant supply chain leadership experience within aerospace, defense, electronics, manufacturing, robotics, or industrial sectors
Experience scaling supply chain operations in fast-growth environments
Strong operational execution capability
Experience with ERP systems, procurement systems, and inventory planning
Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management experience
Ability to balance strategic planning with practical execution
