Organisation

Our client is a high-growth, international consumer-focused platform operating across multiple markets, with an ambitious U.S. expansion strategy underway. The business is backed by significant capital and is in a sustained phase of multi-site rollout, opening and delivering locations at scale across key urban markets.

With a strong brand proposition and an established presence internationally, the organisation is focused on building a best-in-class real estate and development function in the U.S. to support its next phase of growth. The platform is highly operational, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial, with a culture centred around execution, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Role

The successful candidate will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of the U.S. property pipeline, overseeing a high-volume rollout of new sites alongside refurbishment programmes.

This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring an individual who can operate at both a strategic and execution level, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to brand standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the delivery of multiple sites simultaneously, from due diligence through to completion and handover
  • Managing and mentoring an internal team of development and delivery professionals, alongside third-party consultants and contractors
  • Driving pipeline planning, reporting, and execution strategy to meet aggressive growth targets
  • Working cross-functionally with acquisitions, operations, and senior leadership to ensure alignment across all stages of the development lifecycle
  • Overseeing budgeting, capex, procurement, and cost control across the portfolio
  • Managing relationships with landlords, local authorities, and external partners to secure approvals and drive projects forward
  • Ensuring consistent delivery of brand standards and customer-facing environments across all locations
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and scalability across the platform

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a senior real estate / development leader with proven experience operating within tenant-side, multi-site rollout environments.

Key requirements include:

  • Demonstrated experience working on the tenant / occupier side, ideally within retail, leisure, hospitality, or other consumer-driven platforms
  • Track record of delivering multi-site rollout programmes, managing multiple concurrent projects to tight timelines
  • Experience operating within high-growth environments, where pace, scale, and adaptability are critical
  • Strong leadership capability, with experience building, mentoring, and managing teams across development and delivery functions
  • Deep understanding of fit-out delivery, landlord coordination, and project execution across multiple markets
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including oversight of capex programmes and cost control
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both internal leadership and external partners

This role is best suited to an individual who thrives in a scaling, high-performance environment, and who is motivated by the opportunity to play a key role in delivering a national rollout for a growing consumer brand.
