Position Overview

Cashera Capital is seeking a Part‑Time Underwriter based in Utah to support our underwriting operations. This role focuses on reviewing applications, analyzing risk, and supporting timely credit decisions in a fast‑paced fintech environment. The ideal candidate has hands‑on underwriting experience in fintech, alternative lending, or small business finance and can work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and underwrite funding applications in line with Cashera’s credit policies
• Analyze bank statements, cash flow, transaction history, and supporting documentation
• Assess credit risk and recommend approvals, declines, or counter‑offers
• Identify potential fraud, inconsistencies, or risk flags during reviews
• Maintain accurate underwriting notes and decision records
• Collaborate with Operations and Funding teams to ensure timely deal processing
• Follow internal underwriting guidelines and compliance standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of underwriting experience in fintech, alternative lending, MCA, or small business lending
• Strong ability to analyze financial data, cash flow, and bank statements
• Comfortable making credit decisions in a high‑volume environment
• High attention to detail and strong judgment
• Ability to work part‑time on a consistent schedule
