Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking a compassionate and organized Tenant Resource Counselor to support residents in maintaining housing and achieving self-sufficiency. As part of our Supportive Housing Services team, you will provide direct case management, connect clients to community resources, and help ensure a safe and supportive housing environment in coordination with building management.

What You’ll Do
Conduct initial interviews and assessments for new housing applicants and residents
Assist residents in developing individualized service plans based on identified needs
Monitor and document client progress and adjust plans in collaboration with the treatment team
Provide support counseling, resource navigation, and life skills coaching
Coordinate group programming and tenant association/committee meetings
Conduct apartment inspections as needed and maintain strong communication with building management
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation per agency and funder standards
Collaborate with Housing Specialists during client transitions and lease renewals
Participate in internal and external case conferences and trainings
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field, or at least 2 years of practical human services experience
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong interpersonal skills and client-centered approach
Basic computer skills preferred
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving standards
Bilingual fluency is a plus
