Role Overview

As Talent Acquisition Manager, you'll own the entire recruitment lifecycle for a fast-growing social commerce agency. This is a hands-on role where you'll source top talent, manage hiring pipelines, and ensure every new hire sets up for success from day one.

You'll report directly to the President and be responsible for building the systems that attract, assess, and onboard excellent talent who thrive in our performance-driven culture.



Responsibilities

Recruitment & Sourcing

  • Create compelling job descriptions with clear KPIs and performance expectations
  • Post and manage job listings on LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms
  • Proactively source and recruit passive candidates from competitor agencies and relevant industries
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality candidates for current and future roles

Candidate Management

  • Review and screen applications using targeted qualification frameworks
  • Coordinate and schedule 2 rounds of interviews with candidates
  • Conduct reference checks and background verifications
  • Maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the hiring process

Hiring Operations

  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source quality, offer acceptance rates, candidate pipeline health, employee retention rate)
  • Optimize job postings and screening processes based on performance data
  • Manage applicant tracking and ensure timely follow-up at every stage

Onboarding

  • Coordinate new employee setup including Rippling account creation
  • Set up company email, Slack, and relevant platform access
  • Ensure smooth Day 1 experience with all systems and tools ready
  • Create and maintain onboarding documentation and checklists



Requirements

Experience

  • 3+ years in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR with full-cycle recruitment experience
  • Proven track record sourcing for agency, startup, or fast-paced environments
  • Experience hiring for multiple functions (creative, operations, account management, finance)
  • Comfortable with high-volume hiring while maintaining quality standards

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong LinkedIn Recruiter proficiency and sourcing techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Data-driven approach to recruitment metrics and process optimization
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (Rippling experience a plus)
  • Ability to assess cultural fit alongside technical competencies

  • Sourcing effectiveness: % of hires from proactive sourcing vs. inbound applications
