About The Role
The Supply Chain & Logistics Summer Intern will support day‑to‑day operations across procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution. This role is ideal for a student eager to gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced environment while contributing to meaningful projects that improve efficiency, visibility, and overall supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
The Supply Chain & Logistics Summer Intern will support day‑to‑day operations across procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution. This role is ideal for a student eager to gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced environment while contributing to meaningful projects that improve efficiency, visibility, and overall supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with tracking inventory levels, analyzing stock data, and identifying potential shortages or excesses
- Support procurement activities, including supplier communication, purchase order creation, and data entry
- Help coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery
- Participate in process‑improvement initiatives to streamline logistics workflows
- Compile and analyze supply chain metrics to support reporting and decision‑making
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Operations, Finance, and Customer Service
- Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and potential cost‑saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate records within ERP, WMS, or other supply chain systems
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn
- Real‑world experience in supply chain operations and logistics management
- Exposure to industry tools, systems, and best practices
