Position Summary
Orlando Health is a 3,200-bed system that includes 15 wholly-owned hospitals and emergency departments; rehabilitation services, cancer institutes, heart institutes, imaging and laboratory services, wound care centers, physician offices for adults and pediatrics, skilled nursing facilities, an in-patient behavioral health facility, home healthcare services in partnership with LHC Group, and urgent care centers in partnership with CareSpot Urgent Care. Nearly 4,200 physicians, representing more than 80 medical specialties and subspecialties have privileges across the Orlando Health system, which employs nearly 22,000 team members. activities of professional and skilled tradesmen, technicians, maintenance engineers and support personnel.

Position Summary

Essential Functions
- Provides technical assistance to engineers by diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving problems associated with the operation and
- Plans, directs, controls, implements and supervises assigned corrective and preventive maintenance programs. Ensures lowest

- Monitors completion rates of all corrective and preventive maintenance tasks and ensures timely completion as scheduled and

- Assists the Assistant Facilities Manager and/or Facilities Manager in all daily activities.
- Communicates with the Assistant Facilities Manager and/or Facilities Manager concerning assignments and keeps engineering
- Supports the engineering department through team commitment and staff involvement in engineering affairs.
- Manages various personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
- Assists in establishing and maintaining department standards of operation, policies and procedures, objectives, quality
- Ensures compliance with The Joint Commission and other licensure requirements, including: maintaining current operational
documentation current, informing and assisting the Assistant Facilities Manager and/or Facilities Manager in resolving problems
with fire alarm system, assisting in development of department budget, investigating incidents involving utilities equipment and
making appropriate recommendation to the Manager.
- Ensures that work sites are left clean and that tools are returned to proper location.
