Job Title: Store Manager – Luxury Retail (Madison Avenue)
Position Overview
The Store Manager will lead the launch and ongoing success of a flagship boutique on Madison Avenue. This role requires a highly experienced luxury retail leader with a deep understanding of the Madison Avenue clientele, a proven track record in store openings, and the ability to cultivate an elite client base. The Store Manager will act as a brand ambassador, driving business performance while upholding the brand’s Italian heritage, craftsmanship, and luxury positioning.

The Store Manager will lead the launch and ongoing success of a flagship boutique on Madison Avenue. This role requires a highly experienced luxury retail leader with a deep understanding of the Madison Avenue clientele, a proven track record in store openings, and the ability to cultivate an elite client base. The Store Manager will act as a brand ambassador, driving business performance while upholding the brand’s Italian heritage, craftsmanship, and luxury positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of store opening, including hiring, training, operational setup, and launch execution
- Build, develop, and manage a high-performing luxury sales team
- Deliver exceptional client experiences aligned with luxury service standards
- Establish and grow a strong client book, with a focus on VIP and repeat clientele
- Drive sales performance, KPIs, and profitability for the boutique
- Maintain the highest standards of visual merchandising and brand presentation
- Oversee daily operations including inventory, reporting, and compliance
- Partner with corporate teams on marketing initiatives, events, and client activations
- Represent the brand within the Madison Avenue luxury community
- Extensive luxury retail management experience on Madison Avenue (required)
- Proven store opening experience (flagship or boutique preferred)
- Strong existing client book and network within the luxury market
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to recruit and develop top talent
- Deep understanding of luxury clienteling and CRM strategies
- Excellent business acumen with a track record of exceeding sales goals
- Availability and willingness to travel to Italy for brand training
- Experience with luxury denim or premium apparel
- Strong connection to the NYC luxury fashion community
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on leadership style
- Highly polished, professional presence aligned with a luxury brand image
- Passion for Italian craftsmanship, tailoring, and product storytelling
