Staff Accountant

We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to join our client's dynamic team in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. In this role, you will oversee critical accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will support the organization’s financial operations. Our client is offering a competitive salary, benefits and bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed bank reconciliations to maintain accuracy in financial records.

• Oversee general ledger activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries.

• Handle month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial statements are completed and submitted on time.

• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to streamline financial processes.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

• Provide support for audits and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial records for easy retrieval and review.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business decision-making.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and general ledger management.

• Experience with month-end close procedures and journal entries.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP. Excel experience required.

• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies effectively.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and industry standards.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
