Staff Accountant | Amazing 401(k)

LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with a nonprofit client on northside of Indianapolis looking for a Staff Accountant. This role will report to the Controller, be a part of a small but established team, and will have room for growth in GL accounting. Open due to an incoming retirement.

Duties:

• Journal entries and month-end close support
• Cash and investment account reconciliations
• Monitor cash and investment activity on the balance sheet
• Fixed asset tracking and reconciliations
• Corporate credit card program administration
• Support operational and light HR-related tasks
• Partner with leadership to understand activity and provide insight beyond transactional work
• Exposure to operating foundation accounting
• AI implementation focus – many licenses available

Requirements:

• 1+ years’ progressive GL accounting experience, ideally at a nonprofit
• Bachelors in finance or accounting
• Hunger for growth in GL accounting
