Who You Are
As Sr. Regional Key Account Manager, at Recess, you will lead sales strategy and execution across regional key accounts. You’ll focus on building strong customer relationships, driving profitable growth, and expanding Recess’s footprint across regional accounts. You bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to deliver results while cultivating long-term partnerships. This role is eligible to participate in our Sales Bonus Plan.
What You’ll Do…
Delivery against volume, revenue, and market share targets, along with key KPIs (ACV, promo efficiency, trade ROI)
Manage trade and promotional budgets, ensuring spend is efficient and aligned to goals
Build and present custom sales pitch decks for Recess products, tailored to each account
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with buyers and senior account stakeholders
Manage P&L for slotting, promotions, and other customer-related expenses
Partner cross-functionally with internal teams (finance, marketing, supply chain) to execute account plans
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the drug channel
Provide accurate, timely reporting on promotional schedules and customer activity
What You’ll Bring…
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years of CPG sales experience
Experience with wiring Kroger and Albertsons divisions regionally
Strong knowledge of CPG sales processes and promotional planning
Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
Engaging presentation and communication skills
Strong financial literacy with the ability to manage trade budgets and P&L
Results-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable moving quickly in a fast-paced environment
