We are working with a leading Microsoft Partner seeking a Sr Business Central Functional Consultant with strong operational experience. This role suits someone who enjoys working directly with clients, supporting implementations, and improving processes across supply chain, inventory, warehousing, purchasing, and order management. You’ll join a collaborative consulting team with opportunities to expand your skills and grow your consulting experience.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients to understand operational needs across inventory, warehousing, purchasing, and order management
- Support Business Central implementations, enhancements, and post‑go‑live activities
- Assist with configuration, testing, documentation, and user support
- Troubleshoot functional issues and collaborate with technical teams
- Analyse workflows and recommend improvements aligned with BC best practices
- Configure BC modules to support operational and cross‑functional processes
- Support data validation, migration, and system setup
- Contribute to solution design and functional documentation
- Create SOPs, user guides, and training materials
- Deliver end‑user and team training sessions
- Provide ongoing functional support throughout the project lifecycle
- Participate in planning, requirements gathering, and testing
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and senior consultants
- Support internal continuous‑improvement initiatives
- Travel up to 25% for workshops, training, and go‑live support
Skills and Experience
- Experience supporting or implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV
- Strong understanding of operational processes:
- Inventory
- Warehouse Management
- Purchasing
- Order Management
- Ability to gather requirements, document processes, and translate business needs into solutions
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working with clients
- Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with ERP data structures
- Experience within a Microsoft Partner or consulting environment preferred
