We are seeking an experienced HR leader to serve as a key partner to senior leadership, overseeing employee relations, talent management, and day-to-day HR operations for a growing organization. This is a highly visible, hands-on role supporting a multi-state workforce.


This position will act as a trusted second-in-command to HR leadership, driving execution, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic HR initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day HR operations, ensuring consistent execution of policies, processes, and employee support
  • Oversee complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • Partner with leadership to execute talent acquisition and retention strategies aligned with business needs
  • Manage and develop HR team members, establishing clear priorities, accountability, and performance standards
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states
  • Support and enhance HR programs including performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals
  • Utilize HR data and metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility
  • Strong background in employee relations, compliance, and HR operations
  • Experience supporting multi-state organizations
  • Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a regulated industry such as manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare preferred
  • Professional certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred
